FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A 10-year-old child was airlifted to the hospital after suffering serious injuries in an e-bike crash in Fort Bend County, according to authorities.

The child was struck by a vehicle while riding an e-bike on a roadway, according to the Willowfork Fire Department.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office confirmed the child is 10 years old.
