Ashley Morris, emergency management coordinator for Fredericksburg and Gillespie County, will discuss disaster preparedness and emergency response during the Friends of Historic Luckenbach School meeting Thursday, Aug. 13.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Luckenbach Schoolhouse, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite dish for a potluck supper.

Dinnerware, utensils and water will be available.
