Federal agents and tactical teams conducted court-authorized operations at multiple locations across the Houston area early Wednesday morning, the FBI said.

The coordinated sweeps involved FBI Houston's Safe Streets Task Force, the FBI SWAT team and partner law enforcement agencies.

Personnel were deployed to several sites in the early morning hours.
