Riverside Nature Center's Fall Native Plant Sale, originally scheduled for Oct. 3, has moved to Saturday, Oct. 10.

The sale runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the nature center, 150 Francisco Lemos St. Members of Riverside Nature Center, the Kerrville Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas and the Hill Country Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists get early access starting at 9 a.m. Organizers say fall is the best time to plant trees and shrubs.

The sale will offer native perennials, shrubs, trees and grasses selected from nurseries across Central Texas, while supplies last.
