WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Independent School District is preparing to celebrate and introduce the inaugural class of the WFISD Athletics Hall of Fame on November 6, 2026, during the Crosstown Showdown between the Legacy Leopards and Memorial Mavericks.

WFISD said that 12 individuals will be honored for their accomplishments and contributions to the rich athletic tradition of Wichita Falls ISD.

To help offset the costs of their historic event, WFISD shared that they are offering 12 exclusive 'Sponsor an Inductee' opportunities, one for each member of the inaugural Hall of Fame class.
