CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- A Cy-Fair ISD mother is facing two criminal charges after school administrators reported seeing her hit her young son at Moore Elementary and later threaten to shoot up the school, according to court records.

Although the charges were filed months ago, records show she has not been arrested.

Court documents state the incident happened on Feb. 11, when administrators at Moore Elementary said they saw Shanika Hatcher strike her son multiple times.
