MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - A jury sentenced 67-year-old Wayne Lee Belcher to 25 years in prison on one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, according to the Midland County District Attorney.

Prior convictions cited in sentencingBelcher had prior qualifying felony convictions for Possession of Cocaine and later Delivery of Cocaine as a Habitual Offender, according to the district attorney.

He was sentenced as a habitual offender.
