Story by Steve Nash - Special Contributor to BrownwoodNews.com Sidney Sisemore knew in middle school that she wanted to become a teacher - probably no surprise, since her parents are teachers.

Sisemore, a Dallas native and a 2001 graduate of Howard Payne University, begins her sixth year this fall teaching at Early High School, where she is an English teacher and head of the English department.

She's also helped with the Longhorn Theater Company's One-Act Play, has been a National Honor Society sponsor, and has assisted in the PALS (Peer Assisted Leadership) program.
