CLIFTON, Texas (KBTX) - Kasidy Stewart, a 30-year-old mother, is fighting for her life after a catastrophic crash on Highway 6 last week.

On July 20, Kasidy was taking her 3-year-old special-needs son, Asher, to his therapy appointment when tragedy struck near FM 2136, northwest of Clifton.

According to DPS, Kasidy's truck crossed into oncoming traffic, possibly to avoid a vehicle entering the intersection, and collided with a Ford F-250.
