(KGNS) - A former cemetery employee faces charges after police said she stole more than $67,000 from the business.

Annaleah Martinez, 44, was served with an arrest warrant on Sept. 18 and charged with misapplication of fiduciary property or property of a financial institution, a third-degree felony, according to the Laredo Police Department.

Representatives of a local cemetery, which police said is not the city cemetery, reported an internal theft on March 26.
