(KGNS) - Laredo police arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a dog in the Green Ranch Subdivision, according to the Laredo Police Department.

Jorge Eduardo Gonzalez Jr., 35, was served with an arrest warrant Sept. 14 charging him with discharging a firearm in certain municipalities, police said.

On May 18, police received home surveillance video from the area of the Green Ranch Subdivision showing a person driving a blue Chevrolet Silverado and holding what was believed to be a rifle, police said.
