The Hutto Lady Hippos varsity volleyball team battled through a back-andforth match Tuesday, Aug. 25, earning a 3-2 victory over the Hawks at the Hutto High School gym.

Hutto got off to a strong start, narrowly taking the opening set 26-24 in a competitive battle.

The Lady Hippos, however, struggled to maintain their momentum as the Hawks responded by winning the next two sets, 25-15 and 25-13, to take a 2-1 lead in the match.
