CHANNELVIEW, Texas - Harris County Sheriff's deputies arrested 25-year-old Chase Patin Thursday morning following an overnight manhunt that ended at a home on North Brentwood and South Drive in Channelview.

Deputies said Patin shot one of their own in the leg while they were responding to a family disturbance Wednesday night.

Investigators said Patin then stole a deputy's patrol car, crashed it and fled on foot.
