35th District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that on Wednesday, July 22, in the 35th Judicial District Court of Brown County, Jacky Wayne Carter AKA Mike Wayne Rayes of Brownwood, was sentenced to a term of 35 years in prison for Delivery of Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.

The finding and sentencing took place after a trial by jury.

Carter was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone.
