Heart of the Hills Heritage Center, alongside community partners, has announced a full calendar of free community programs and events celebrating Hispanic Heritage.

The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, Community Arts Program, Doyle Community Center, Heart of the Hills Heritage Center and Schreiner University have developed a wide range of opportunities to gather as a community to discover the rich Hispanic heritage that's shaped Kerrville history for generations.

The Doyle Community Center kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, Sept. 12, with the Diecisis Celebration honoring Mexican Independence Day with a family-friendly afternoon of food, games and activities.
