LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - The Teague House in Longview is over 150 years old and holds enough history to stretch across generations.

Built in 1873, a preservation project that aims to honor accuracy."There was no Gregg county, there was no Longview. there was only Earpville, which was a thriving little community here, and this house was the center of that community," Ken Oden, historical building collector and preserver, said.

With 153 years of history, the Teague House of Longview is a home filled with stories waiting to be heard."They had bought it from other folks who had built it 10-20 years before...and when they came here after the Civil War, like many families, they were looking to start their own life," Oden said.
