BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - Bell County saw record voter turnout during the primary elections earlier this year, and officials say the general election is on track to break records as well.

Lines stayed consistently long throughout the day at Lions Club Senior Center in Killeen, one of the county's early voting sites.

Monday was the first day of early voting, and more than 7,100 people checked in to vote in person in Bell County, according to county officials.
