LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Three people are injured following two back-to-back crashes that happened near 34th and I-27 around 10:40 p.m., Thursday night.

Police were called to the scene after an SUV, driven by 21-year-old Kelis Hardeman crashed into a car driven by 24-year old Cade Wells while traveling south on I-27.

Shortly after the initial crash, 56-year-old Ryan Patrick stopped to help.
