COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station is putting its food scene in the spotlight this summer with its first-ever College Station Restaurant Week, set for Aug. 24-30.

Organized by Visit College Station, the weeklong event invites diners to sample prix fixe menus at participating restaurants while supporting a local cause.

Ten percent of Restaurant Week proceeds, excluding alcohol, will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank, according to Visit College Station.
