LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin ISD plans to move its two-year-old turf and track from Abe Martin Stadium to Lufkin Middle School as part of a $42 million bond renovation at the high school.
The renovation will bring new turf and a new track to Abe Martin Stadium.
Athletic Director Carl Abseck said the project benefits the district's programs."Part of this is in a in a good a good way that it benefits our programs through top to bottom," Abseck said.
