Odessa school crossing guard injured in crash at 22nd and Santa Rosa

A school crossing guard in Odessa was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of 22nd and Santa Rosa and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - The Odessa Police Department responded to a crash at 22nd and Santa Rosa this morning involving a school crossing guard.

According to Odessa police, at around 7:44 a.m., a Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer was traveling eastbound on 22nd Street when it hit a school crossing guard walking northbound on Santa Rosa.

The crossing guard was transported to MCH with non-life-threatening injuries.
