SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Recruitment and retention are a big problem nationwide among police departments.

In the Big Country, Sweetwater is trying to alleviate those problems with an addendum to its meet-and-confer agreement.

"It's going to be very beneficial to the city," Chief of Police Cory Stroman said.
