The Fredericksburg High School varsity tennis team picked up two playoff victories this past week, including a bi-district win over Salado last Monday and an area-round victory over La Vernia last Thursday.

The Billies (20-3) are now ranked No. 5 in Class 4A according to the latest Texas Tennis Coaches Association (TTCA) state poll.

The week began with a convincing Billies victory over Salado last Monday, 10-0 (19-0), to propel FHS to the area round of the playoffs.
