HUNTINGTON, Texas (KTRE) - The Huntington Police Department has arrested a man they say wrote several fraudulent checks.

41-year-old Cesar Alejandro Mendoza of Nacogdoches was arrested and charged with six counts of forgery, all state jail felonies.

On October 11, Mendoza allegedly cashed three fraudulent checks totaling $1,800 at Little Boots Convenience Store in Huntington.
