ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas - A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle while changing a flat tire on Interstate 37, according to authorities.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. near mile marker 102 on southbound I-37.

The victim, a 52-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with serious bodily injuries, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
