The Uvalde Coyotes will enjoy a Friday night off from District 14-4A Division 1 competition on Oct. 16.

Their district bye week comes following grueling seven weeks of competition, including three district ball games.

"It's nice to get a break before we head into our last three district games," said Coyotes head coach Wade Miller.
