The City of San Antonio is waiving brush collection limits as residents continue cleanup efforts following the August 28 storm that caused widespread damage to trees, power lines, and property.

Trees fell on power lines, rooftops and cars, creating a lot of cleanup for neighbors to handle.
Josephine Valencia, director of the city's Solid Waste Management Department, said the department's brush collection trucks roved around impacted neighborhoods last week to help with cleanup.
