As data centers expand across the San Antonio area, the San Antonio Board of Realtors says it is still too early to know whether the facilities are affecting home prices or utility bills in the region.

"Yes, we've had data centers for a while. But as far as the hyper scale version of data centers, that's still a relatively new thing we're dealing with at this point. So we don't really know the answers to a lot of the questions that are being asked," said Marquis Williams of the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

KSAT 12 went to one of the largest data centers in Bexar County, the 158-acre Microsoft Texas Research Park, which is surrounded by homes.
