TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Start the week of Sept. 8, work on Tyler's Downtown Improvement Project will expand to Broadway Avenue.

According to the City of Tyler, North Broadway Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Erwin Street and Line Street as infrastructure, sidewalk, and roadway work begins.

The city said that traffic will be shifting to the east side of North Broadway Avenue during this phase.
