HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A jury ruled a Houston man's Fourth Amendment rights were violated in March 2022 when a Bexar County Sheriff's deputy pulled him over, held him for 76 minutes, and searched his car, all without probable cause.
Alek Schott said he was returning home from an overnight work trip in Carrizo Springs about an hour from the Mexico border when he was pulled over by a Bexar County deputy near San Antonio.
In body cam video sent to ABC13 by Schott's legal team, you hear the deputy tell Schott he was pulled over for allegedly drifting out of his lane.
