CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The man accused of hitting a woman with his car and killing her in Canyon was sentenced today.

The trial of 31-year-old Ulise DeLao was scheduled to start today, but DeLao accepted a plea deal.

In the plea agreement, the state waived count 1.
