MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland Police Department officers responded at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday to the area of South Marshall Street for a possible explosive ordnance.

Midland Police Department Bomb Squad personnel also responded to the scene.

Residents were notified and evacuated to a safe distance, according to police.
