(KGNS) - A buoy marker has come loose from the river after a slight rise in water levels following early-morning rainfall, according to Mayor Dr. Victor Trevio.
City officials said they do not expect a significant rise in river levels, estimating the river could reach four to five feet.
Officials said that rise is not expected to pose a flooding threat.
