MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - The U.S. Attorney's Office of the Eastern District of Texas announced a 12-year prison sentence for a Daingerfield man found guilty for drug trafficking.

According to the announcement, Reco Tyrone Hayes, 51, was convicted by a jury for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

On Sept. 28, U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap sentenced Hayes to 144 months in federal prison.
