Pride banners are back on Westheimer in Houston's Montrose Cultural District, bringing a visible display of LGBTQIA+ representation back to a corridor with deep ties to the community.

Pride Houston 365, Mayor John Whitmire and Houston City Council Member Joe Panzarella announced Tuesday that the banners will be installed on 10 CenterPoint light poles along Westheimer Road, from just east of Taft Street to Montrose Boulevard.

The installation was scheduled for Tuesday.
