LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Liberty County Sheriff Bobby Rader gave an update to commissioners this week about repairs at the county jail.
In May, the Texas Commission on Jail standards issued a notice following an inspection.
The state said there were missing locks on multiple units, missing intercoms for communication, damaged lighting, and the smoke management system was not working.
