(KGNS) - The Oilton post office, open since the 1930s, closed its doors, requiring residents to drive about 7 miles to Bruni to get mail.
Agustina Leal, who lives in Oilton, described the office as a lifeline."There's a lot of elderly veterans who live here, and they depend on their medications from the VA," Leal said.
"A lot of life-saving medications. We have patients who are fighting cancer."Limited hours, longer driveLeal said four hours a day to get mail isn't enough.
