BEVERLY HILLS, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco-area man is facing a felony charge after police say he broke into a woman's apartment early Saturday morning and subsequently jumped from a second-story window to escape.
Matthew D. Cruz, 36, was arrested by the Beverly Hills Police Department and charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault, a first-degree felony.

The caller told dispatchers a man was actively breaking into her bedroom window.
