GUNTER, Texas (KXII) - Gunter Independent School District launched a new bus tracking app on the first day of school, making it the first district in North Texas to use the system, according to the district's director of transportation.

The app, Bus Compass, allows parents to monitor live bus locations, receive estimated arrival times, and set customizable alerts - all through a single platform.

Parents access the app using the same ID they use to register their child through the district's parent portal.
