COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - With Halloween around the corner, people are getting their costumes ready and houses decorated for the spooky holiday.

The city of College Station Parks and Recreation Department is also giving people a chance to get into the holiday spirit a little early with its Haunted Hike at Lick Creek Park.

Haunted Hike is a guided night hike for ages 13+ on Friday, Oct. 16 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The parks and recreation department said the hike will be focused on local cryptids, such as the chupacabra, prairie devils, Gator Man and even the world-famous Sasquatch.
