TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Amid thousands of records at the historic Marvin Methodist Church in Tyler, one bulletin shows how the East Texas community reacted to 9/11.
Records show notices for special Sunday services and a special prayer gathering that took place in downtown Tyler the day after the attacks.
Pastor Gerry Giles wasn't in Tyler at the time but remembers a similar environment in another city."The entire sanctuary was full of people who had come to pray," Giles said.
