Actor Donny Wahlberg said he was aboard a private jet that skidded off a runway during a planned takeoff on Sunday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Wahlberg posted a reel to Instagram late Sunday in which he says the plane was taking off but couldn't get into the air and "ran out of runway." "We're all okay. I'm just gonna tell you, these pilots saved our lives, and God covered us," the entertainer said in the video.

He also wrote in the caption of the post, "Thankful to God, of course, and to our incredible pilots who did an amazing job of keeping us safe and avoiding a serious disaster. The airplane did take some lumps - but we did not." Dig deeper: The private jet, a Dassault Falcon 50, went off the runway and struck a perimeter fence.
