The city of New Braunfels will begin construction on the Gruene Road and Post Road Intersection Improvement Project on Monday, Nov. 2.

The project is a nearly $700,000 roadway and pedestrian enhancement project funded through roadway impact fees collected from new development, a press release from the city stated.

Contractor E-Z Bel Construction was awarded the contract by city council on July 13.
