PEARLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A deadly crash has blocked a portion of Highway 288 on Wednesday morning, the Pearland Police Department said.

The single-vehicle crash was reported at about 4:43 a.m. on SH 288 southbound at Spectrum Boulevard near Beltway 8, according to Houston TranStar.

SkyEye13 flew over the heavy backups from the crash, where Pearland PD said one person was killed.
