A vehicle fire is blocking all eastbound lanes of SH 99 in the area of SH 249 and Telge Road, officials said Wednesday morning.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office are assisting with traffic control while firefighters work to extinguish the vehicle fire.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
