TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - People came in from all over East Texas for the chance to see and hear Vice President J.D. Vance in person, and everyone seemed to have different opinions.

The main terminal area at Tyler Pounds Fields provided a great view of Air Force Two coming in for a landing, and a few who planned on attending thought the Vice President's rally was there, but it was across the landing field at the old terminal.

Abhiram Garapata says he dropped everything and came in from Austin to see Vice President Vance."It's very important to keep our state conservative and our country Republican. Win the midterms so we can keep our state Republican," Garapata said.
