BELLMEAD, Texas (KWTX) - Communities across McLennan County joined neighborhoods nationwide Tuesday evening to celebrate National Night Out, bringing residents, business owners, and first responders together to build stronger, safer communities.

In Bellmead, the evening's festivities began with a community kickoff party at Brame Park before branching out into five simultaneous block parties hosted by local churches, businesses, and credit unions across the city.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign designed to foster police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
