GOBER, Texas (KXII) - The Gober Municipal Utility District approved a $150,000 loan Thursday night to cover the cost of bottled water and water purchased from nearby towns following a multi-day water outage in mid-July.
The loan, agreed upon during a Zoom meeting with Communities Unlimited, will be paid back over 15 years.
Residents will see higher water bills as a result.
