HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man who survived being shot during a parking garage robbery is warning others to stay alert as police search for the gunman.

Houston police released surveillance video showing the suspect approaching Alonzo Sauls inside a parking garage off South MacGregor around 3:15 a.m. on Dec. 28. "They need to know these garages are not safe," Sauls said.

The video shows the masked suspect walking through the garage with a flashlight, looking into vehicles.
