Hotels sue UCAD to reduce property valuation

Two hotel companies are suing the Uvalde County Appraisal District to reduce the 2026 property valuations for Holiday Inn Express Uvalde and Hampton Inn, claiming the appraised values are excessive.

A limited liability company representing Holiday Inn Express Uvalde and Hampton Inn is suing the Uvalde County Appraisal District over a 2026 property appraisal that it claims is excessive.
